THE DYW CAPITAL CAMPAIGN FUND
Since it’s founding in 1963, the Downingtown Young Whippets football organization has earned a reputation as one of the most successful youth football programs in Southeastern Pennsylvania. A member of the Bert Bell Football Conference, DYW is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing competitive football and cheerleading opportunities for area kids aged 5 through14.

Since moving to Water Plant Way in 1997, DYW has built a press box, installed lights for the practice and game fields, rehabilitated the game field surface and is in the final stages of completing a field house in the north end zone.  With these improvements in mind, the DYW Capital Campaign Fund has been created to raise money (without increasing registration fees) for the renovation, construction and remodeling of the current football complex.

The Downingtown Young Whippets Capital Campaign Fund invites you to join us in improving our facilities for our football players and cheerleaders. We are asking for 100% participation from all member families to help make these planned improvements become a reality.  If each family contributes or helps solicit $1000 we will achieve our goal! Additionally, we will be asking for generous support from local civic organizations and businesses.

WHAT OUR PLAN IS . . .
Our plan consists of three phases:

Complete the field house, walkways, landscaping, fencing and a pavilion

Replace the existing bleachers

Reconfigure and pave the parking lot
To achieve these goals the campaign will need to raise $500,000. The Young Whippets need YOUR help!

Beginning spring 2008, the DYW Capital Campaign Fund will begin accepting contributions with a goal of completing these Capital Fund projects before the beginning of the 2010 season (or sooner!). The DYW Capital Fund relies on the loyal support of current and former DYW member families, as well as local civic and business organizations for funding.  Please consider an appropriate giving level for your family and contribute generously to help make these necessary improvements.

All contributions to the DYW Capital Campaign Fund are tax deductible since DYW is a non-profit organization under IRS section 501(c) (3).

Up to $99

Field Goal Sponsor
$100 - $499

Gifts up to $999 will be recognized on
the DYW website indicating
sponsorship level.

Touchdown Sponsor
$500 - $999

Championship Sponsor
$1,000 - $4,999

Recognition sign to be displayed at the DYW field for one (1) year,
3 feet by 4 feet.

DYW Memorial Sponsor
$5,000 and above

Recognition sign to be displayed at the DYW field for three (3) years,
3 feet by 4 feet.

DYW Memorial Sponsors will also be permanently recognized on a plaque to be displayed at the DYW field house.
